Bill Jackson
3 yr. Trustee - Air Force

I’m originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I graduated from high school in 1964. In 1966 I enlisted in the Air Force and served 22 years traveling to many different bases both in the states and overseas, both permanent and temporary duty assignments.

My job in the Air Force was a lineman for communications, I crossed trained into a high voltage electrical lineman.

When I retired in 1988, my wife Ruth and I moved to Florida from Omaha, Nebraska. I worked for a power company that built or upgraded power lines for FPL.
After two years I got a job as a lineman/cable splicer at Kennedy Space Center and was there for 25 years retiring in 2015 as Supervisor for high voltage systems.
